Who is Cho YongPil (조용필) ?

While Psy's new song 'Gentleman' was making another Big hit, there was another new album which was fully prepared to make Koreans happy. 

In Korea, as soon as his song was released, it beat Gentleman.

 Even Billboard mentioned about him so, there is no excuse for it we were really excited.

 We call him A 'King' !

 As Jeff Benjamin and Jessica Oak said, he is the History of Korea song like Michael Jackson. (except his is still alive. :P)

So I'm so happy about it. Not because finally you guys know about our King, finally you guys know there is another type of Korea songs. Obviously, there are so many K-POPs are beloved worldwidely but, they are all with too much electronic sounds or just like POP.


Well. I can't deny that his(Jo yongpil) new songs aren't like that, but there are so many true K-POPs of him.

Cho Yong-pil (hangul: 조용필; hanja: 趙容弼; also written Jo Yong-pil) is a South Korean pop singer born in 1950. Many Korean Pop Fans fans believe that Cho is one of the most influential figures in Korean pop music and has produced many hits of Korean pop music history, including "Return to Busan Port", "Dear Friend" and "The Lady Outside the Window". (Wekipedia)

 

Despite he is 64 years old now, his voice is exactly same as before.

It's such a luck for Korea people I think.

 

 

He had a Showcase for new album. (It was his first showcase in his whole life.)

After some young singers sang his song to show their respect, he sang 3new songs.

This is his title song, Hello.

As you might see he missed some lyrics.

Maybe he was pretty nervous or it's too fast to song whatever, he is 64.

 

Still, his voice is amazing.

I would love to translate this lyrics, but I'm not sure we can have sympathy for its sensitivity

Ziplining in Daegu

There is a park named Herbhillz in Daegu.

The zip lining thing is called Eco Adventure.

There are 6 levels. Tarzan , KingKong, Gorilla, Chimpanzee, Orangutan, Monkey.

Of course Tarzan is the hardest one !

Before you start, you should take a Safety Education. You can learn how to use your safety equipment.

 

There is no English speaker !

I’m sure that you will be okay though. They are willing to come to see you and check your condition and try to teach you.

I went there last weekend. I did Tarzan, and it took almost an hour. Maybe It’s because it’s my first time of zip lining. But I’m sure that for any other girls need time as I took !

You have to swing from tree to tree and grab the net and climb up like Tarzan 

But, this is only the beginning !

There are more courses could make you upset. But it gets easier once you get used to it.

Well. This is the most fun part of Tarzan course. Long zip line . Seriously, really long. 
You should be careful at the finish. Cuz it’s really fast. If you can’t grab the tree, ..oh you will see.

Basically, this is a park with beautiful forest.

I went here two times in Spring and Fall. Both were amazingly beautiful.

Daegu Station (no KTX) → Bus stop is across Lotte Department Store → Bus number 2(급행2/express bus), 704


By Intercity Bus


Dongdaegu Station → Subway(to Daegok) → Jungangno Station → Bus stop in front of Jungang Cinema → Bus number 2(급행2/express bus), 704


* from Bus stop, both way will take 40-45 min.



★ Admission


Herbhillz opens throughout the year. (even if it’s rainy or snowy). The Opening time and prices are changed in season and by planning so, before leaving, check on the homepage.


For Eco Adventure, You can’t do it on a rainy day or right after raining. so check it carefully.


But when I went there last weekend (May,4), It was 20,000 won( Admission + Eco Adventure)
